Tobago Cays Lobster BBQ & Food Vendors
A beach BBQ can turn a beautiful swim day into a proper Grenadines memory. Lobster is only appropriate in season; good vendors and captains will respect the closed period and offer legal alternatives when needed.
Lobster Season
Lobster season matters.
The Tobago Cays Marine Park regulations state not to buy lobster out of season, from May 1 through August 31. During that closed period, ask for fish, chicken, vegetarian sides, or another legal plan.
Outside the closed season, from September through April, lobster can often be arranged as part of a beach BBQ, depending on vendor availability, weather, and the route. Contact us before your Tobago Cays day and we can help reserve BBQ lobster with a local vendor when it is legal and available.

Local Vendors
Ask for vendors who do it properly.
The best food stop is not only about the plate. It is timing, shade, boat logistics, a legal catch, and someone who understands the rhythm of the Cays. We like asking about Romeo when a BBQ stop makes sense, while keeping the final choice flexible based on availability and season.
If you have dietary needs, say so before the boat day. Once you are in the Marine Park, options are intentionally simple.
